Commissioned $5000. An archeologist spent years trying to find the best way to carry his tools. The problem is most bags and cases are built for big tools or small toools and none are made for his specific tools. He told us he wasn’t even sure if what he needed could be done and we took that as a challenge. 140+ hours labor and ten days later in collaboration with Rebecca Hay, a leathersmith in Mississippi, we had built something absolutely unique to his industry.
Not only had we solved the problem of allowing for all the various tool sizes, but we had also built individual holsters and snap-on, snap-off sections that would allow him to grab and go easily.
In a phase two, we’ll be carving custom art into this piece as well.
Durable materials used were oil-tanned leather and waxed canvas and put together using brass hardware. If you’re a tradesman that has to carry tools with you wherever you go and you’re looking for something next level, give us a call.
